이 책은 KAIST 내의 국제학생 채플 (KAIST　INTERNATIONAL CHAPEL) 에서 그룹성경공부 모임을 위해 사용되었던 사도행전 교재를 묶은 것이다.
젊은 그리스도인들은 사도행전을 공부해야 한다.
사도행전은 신약성경 이해의 열쇠를 제공할 뿐 아니라, 무엇보다도 젊은 이들의 마음을 뜨겁게 만드는 그 무엇이 있다. 2천년전 예수의 사랑의 불을 가슴에 품고 항해와 도보만으로 1만마일을 누비던 사도행전의 주인공들의 행적을 따라가다 보면 어느덧 내 가슴속에도 그 불이 옮겨 붙기 때문이다.
이 교재에 있는 질문들은 쉽게 답할 수 있는 것들이 아니다. 뒤로 갈수록 더욱 더 그렇다. 하나 이상의 답이 가능한 질문들도 적지 않다. 2천년전의 지중해 세계로 들어가서 자신이 누가가 되고, 바울이 되고, 바나바가 되는 상상을 펼쳐야 답이 가능한 것들도 많이 있다. 깊은 생각에서 깊은 깨달음이 오기에, 지식의 전달 보다는 말씀을 깊이 묵상하는 훈련에 초점을 맞추었다.


This book is a collection of the study material for the book of Acts used in KAIST International Chapel.
Young Christian men and women must embrace the book of Acts.
It lays the foundation to understanding the New Testament; it kindles the hearts of young people. As we put ourselves into the shoes of the protagonists - whom in their hearts carried the radiance of Christ’s love - travelling more than 10,000 miles on land and in the sea, we cannot help but find the same fire radiant within us as well.
The questions in this study material are not meant to be answered readily with ease. It is more so toward the end. There are many questions that require more than a single answer. There are also many questions that that can be answered only with the imagining of oneself going back two millennia in time to the Mediterranean world, looking through the eyes of Luke, Paul or Barnabas. Profound enlightenment and awakening come from deep thinking. As such, the aim of this study material was focused on training to meditate deeply on the Word rather than on simply expanding biblical knowledge.
